El Monstruo 2011 is a homemade armored tank, the latest weapons innovation from Los Zetas, one of Mexico’s largest and most brutal drug trafficking organizations.
El Blog del Narco reports that the Mexican army captured the vehicle last week in Ciudad Meir, a border town that has been the site of a bloody turf battle between Los Zetas and their former bosses, the powerful Gulf Cartel.
Army officials say the new model is an upgrade from previous armed vehicles used by the cartels:
El Monstruo 2011 has a top speed of 68 mph and could hold up to 12 people. Now authorities have taken another off the street — one that shows how every iteration gets tougher.

This one, dubbed the «compacto» version of El Monstruo 2010, appears to be a 2011 Ford SuperDuty truck chassis armored all over and given a bay for ferrying up to 10 gunmen. Captured in Jalisco, this version also came with its own entertainment system via speakers built into the back hatch, along with "satellite communications equipment". And unlike the El Monstruo ’11, the builders were smart enough to protect the truck’s wheels from stray bullets.

Graphic designer, Taras Lesko, is known for possessing a pretty artistic set of hands, having gained fame for some of his elaborate works made out of paper. But his latest work is defined not just for the intricate work done on it, but also for its general awesomeness.
It took Lesko 285 pieces of paper to make 750 parts for this 4 ft x 2 ft x 2 ft scale model of the Audi A7. The man logged 245 hours of work to get it done. The finished product is nothing short of amazing, and the elaborate work wasn’t isolated on the exterior too. Even the A7’s interior, complete with the infotainment system, was carefully crafted to make it look like the real thing.

The Lamborghini Reventon was a limited edition supercar that the Italian automaker made. Only 21 cars were ever made, each sporting a price tag of $2.3 million. It could’ve been dream car for many but in reality very few could actually afford the car. One such fan from China was so obsessed with the F-22 Raptor style Lamborghini, that he decided to create one for himself.
When a hair salon owner first saw Lamborghini Reventon he was so impressed he couldn't think about anything else. But the price of the car was way to high for him. So he built one for himself. He bought a 1995 Nissan A31, hired three more people and 12 days later he already had his own Lamborghini Reventon. Well, it doesn't look that good, but it still cost him only US$13,850. And after it is painted it should look like a genuine Lamborghini Reventon.

Here's a bunch of pics of the unveiling of the American Pride Camaro from the Camaro Fall Classic car show. This car is incredible! The painting was done by hand with an airbrush and then clearcoated.
Artist Mickey Harris created the Chevy Camaro American Pride on commission from GM last summer as a one-off for its show car division.
